AUSTRALIAN HOSTING & DATA SECURITY

SpeechLive data for Australia and New Zealand is hosted in Victoria.

SpeechLive uses Microsoft Azure infrastructure with regional data storage. Philips identifies Victoria as the SpeechLive storage region for Australia and New Zealand.

SpeechLive also supports security controls including encrypted transfer, MFA and SSO options. Philips states that Speech Recognition and AI Assistant processing takes place in isolated Azure environments, with no OpenAI access and no use of customer data to train AI models.

VoiceX provides local implementation, training and support for SpeechLive customers across Australia and New Zealand.

Is SpeechLive Mac compatible?

Yes. SpeechLive supports macOS through supported browsers and the SpeechLive Desktop App. Some recorder upload and hardware functions differ between Windows and Mac.

Can I use SpeechLive with only one user?

Yes. SpeechLive can suit individual professionals as well as larger author, typist and administration teams.

Do I need a typist to use SpeechLive?

No. SpeechLive offers several ways to create documents: an internal typist, speech recognition with SpeechLive Legal Direct or SpeechLive Professional Direct, professional transcription services, or document drafting with SpeechLive Legal AI Assistant or SpeechLive Professional AI Assistant.

Can I use a professional dictation recorder with SpeechLive?

Yes. SpeechLive supports upload from compatible professional dictation recorders. Automatic Desktop App upload is available for specified Philips PocketMemo and selected Olympus models.

Can I trial SpeechLive?

Yes. VoiceX provides a two-week SpeechLive trial so you can test the workflow before purchasing. The current Philips trial provides Enterprise plan functionality and includes trial access to Speech Recognition.

Is VoiceX support included?

VoiceX provides implementation assistance, user training and local technical support with eligible SpeechLive agreements purchased through VoiceX.

Can transcription companies use SpeechLive?

Yes. SpeechLive can support professional transcription companies and outsourced transcription relationships. VoiceX can help structure the appropriate users and workflow.

Does SpeechLive support MFA and SSO?

Yes. SpeechLive supports MFA and Microsoft Entra-based SSO options, with additional Enterprise administration capabilities for larger organisations.

Is SpeechLive the same as speech recognition?

No. SpeechLive is the workflow platform. Speech recognition is one optional way of converting speech into text within that platform. Traditional human transcription can still be used.

Is SpeechLive AI Assistant the same as transcription?

No. Transcription reproduces spoken content as text. An AI Assistant interprets the supplied information and creates a structured document draft for Human-in-the-Loop review.

Keep dictated information with the matter it belongs to. The integration links SpeechLive work to NetDocuments through the Matter ID and transfers recordings and completed transcripts into the document workspace.

Reduce separate uploading and filing steps while keeping audio available alongside the written result.

SpeechLive and Clio

Connect dictations, attachments and completed transcripts with a Clio matter. Authors can work from SpeechLive, including the mobile app, using the matter reference to keep documents together.

Clio's direct launch menu currently appears only for the user who enables the integration; other users enter the Matter ID in SpeechLive. VoiceX can demonstrate the workflow for your team.
