SpeechLive for Authors
No two workdays are the same – SpeechLive supports flexible dictation with multiple recording options and secure workflow routing. Authors can dictate using:
- Portable Dictaphones – Upload via the SpeechLive Desktop App
- SpeechLive Mobile App – Dictate, edit, submit to SR or transcription
- SpeechLive Web Recorder – Record using SpeechMike or headset mic
- Ad Hoc Upload – Accepts a wide range of formats
- Speech Recognition – Background or live at-cursor SR, including Dragon & SpeechLive AI
Authors can direct work to typists, send it for SR, or use the optional Transcription Service. The app and browser tools work from anywhere.
SpeechLive for Typists
Typists can transcribe from anywhere via browser, with built-in workflow tools and audio control using a foot pedal. Key features include:
- Foot pedal support for Philips, Olympus, Infinity pedals
- Pop-out player so typists can keep working in their own document window

Admin & Office Manager Tools
