It has been close to 7-years ago since Nuance released the popular Dragon v15 Speech Recognition series of products. Since then, we have seen speech recognition become an integral part of document production for individuals and professionals alike.

Nuance, which is now a Microsoft company, has since focused on the development of its powerful cloud-native solutions which include Dragon Professional Anywhere and the speciality products Dragon Medical One and Dragon Legal Anywhere.

Whilst the advantages, power, accuracy, and reliability of the Dragon cloud solutions can not be disputed, many clients require an “on-premises” solution and as such, Nuance has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the desktop version of the software.

As of the 28^th of February 2023, VoiceX is proud to announce the Australian release of the latest version of Dragon Speech Recognition – Dragon Professional v16.

The 16^th version of Dragon sees a more simplified product offering in the desktop range. Nuance has now discontinued the Dragon Home and Dragon Professional Individual versions.

Dragon Professional v16 Speech Recognition software is now designed to be used by individuals, students, professionals and enterprises alike.

Windows 11 Compatible

Nuance has developed Dragon Professional v16 to ensure the best user experience for Windows 11. Dragon Professional v16 is fully compatible and supported in Windows 11 and is backwards compatible with Windows 10.
