Known issues
Virtualisation & device splitting
Omnissa Horizon 24.12: USB device splitting for PowerMic button redirection does not work on Windows Server 2016/2019/2022. Works on Server 2025.
Citrix Workspace app 2503.1 / 2503.2: Automatic device splitting affected for SpeechMike / PowerMic; earlier client versions work as expected.
Dictation & application behaviour
Chrome/Edge: formatting and undo that / redo that not supported.
Dictation Box behaviours in certain flows (selection commands after auto-open; anchor/focus delays).
Anchored Microsoft Word: some edit commands (press space/tab/enter, cut/copy/paste) don’t trigger when focus is elsewhere.
Clipboard-in-use message may appear when transferring from Dictation Box; retry works.
Install & environment
MSI deployment requires administrator rights.
Imprivata may load older CRT DLLs causing sign-in to close; use SoD.exe -enableredir to create SoD.exe.local and set DevOverrideEnable=1. Disable via -disableredir.
Screen saver not displayed when SpeechMike or PowerMic 4 is in standby recording; can be toggled on each device (press/hold left mouse + touchpad 5 seconds).
TX29 on Server 2022: protected field not detected; users must place cursor manually at protected field start.
