What is SpeechExec Enterprise?
Enterprise-grade dictation and transcription for organisations that need full control.
SpeechExec Enterprise is the Philips on-premise dictation and transcription solution for medium and large organisations that need more than locally installed author and typist software. It is designed for managed environments where IT requires control over licensing, users, workflow, data storage, infrastructure, hardware configuration and deployment.
Where SpeechExec Basic and SpeechExec Pro are client-based applications for local Windows environments, SpeechExec Enterprise is a server-based solution with central administration, concurrent licensing, optional mobile service, optional workflow automation, reporting, remote device management and speech recognition add-on options.
This is the SpeechExec option for sites that must retain control. Hospitals, courts, law firms, legal aid organisations, government departments and regulated professional environments often need a self-managed dictation workflow where audio, documents and system configuration remain within their own infrastructure.
Built for IT-managed environments
Control the platform. Control the data. Control the workflow.
SpeechExec Enterprise is typically selected when cloud dictation is not the preferred path and the organisation wants to manage the dictation environment inside its own infrastructure.
On-premise deployment
Deploy SpeechExec Enterprise within your own Windows server environment, with central configuration and system management handled by your IT team.
Controlled data storage
Keep dictations, documents, archive locations and configuration repositories under your organisation’s storage and access-control model.
Concurrent licensing
Use enterprise concurrent licensing for Dictate and Transcribe client applications, managed through the SpeechExec Enterprise License Server.
Central administration
Manage users, licences, system configuration, worklists, device settings and optional advanced modules through the enterprise management tools.
SpeechExec Enterprise modules
Choose the enterprise package that matches your environment.
SpeechExec Enterprise is modular. Some organisations only need the foundation platform for managed author and typist workflow. Others need advanced routing, reporting, remote hardware management, mobile dictation or speech recognition services.

Enterprise Manager and License Server
Central control for users, licences and system configuration.
SpeechExec Enterprise uses a central License Server to deliver licenses on demand to Enterprise Dictate and Enterprise Transcribe clients. This supports concurrent licensing, so organisations can manage usage more efficiently across larger author and typist groups.
Enterprise Manager gives administrators the tools to manage background configuration, system settings, users, licences and advanced administration tools from a central point. In larger environments, this is the difference between installing dictation software and operating a controlled enterprise workflow.
Concurrent licences
Licence access is delivered centrally as users launch client applications.
System configuration
Manage the enterprise configuration repository and shared workflow settings.
Active Directory options
Support enterprise authentication and user management approaches where configured.
Author and typist workflow
Dictate, route, transcribe and review inside a managed environment.
SpeechExec Enterprise supports the traditional author-to-typist workflow that many legal, medical and government teams still depend on, while adding the management layer needed for larger environments.
Enterprise Dictate
Authors can dictate using Philips dictation microphones, SpeechOne headsets, compatible PocketMemo recorders or supported enterprise recording workflows.
Enterprise Transcribe
Transcriptionists work from managed worklists with playback controls, job information, priority handling and compatible Philips foot control support.
Web Access
Web Access can support browser-based access where configured, helping users work without depending entirely on a locally installed client.
Priority and status tracking
Job information, author details, priority and status visibility help administrators and transcription teams keep urgent work moving.
SpeechExec Enterprise Plus
Add advanced routing, reporting and remote device management.
SpeechExec Enterprise Plus is the stronger option when your organisation needs more than the foundation modules. It adds the management tools usually expected in larger legal, healthcare and government deployments.
Workflow Manager
Automatically route dictations based on defined criteria, schedules and rules rather than relying only on manual movement of files.
Statistics Module
Report on author activity, transcriptionist activity, dictation details and workflow performance for operational visibility.
Remote device management
Centrally configure supported Philips dictation hardware, including device settings, button behaviour, recording profiles and firmware management.
Self-hosted mobile dictation
Add mobile dictation without moving your workflow to the public cloud.
SpeechExec Enterprise can be extended with SpeechExec Mobile licences and the Mobile Service. This allows users to send dictations from the Philips Voice Recorder App directly into the organisation’s SpeechExec Enterprise environment.
For organisations that want mobile dictation but still need infrastructure control, this provides a private, self-hosted pathway for capturing dictation from iOS or Android and routing it into the enterprise workflow.
Mobile capture
Authors can record, edit and manage dictations from their mobile devices. iOS & Android.
Private routing
Dictations are sent, stored and managed via your own SpeechExec Enterprise infrastructure.
IIS configuration
Mobile Service deployment requires an appropriate server and IIS configuration.
