1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions apply to the licensing, support, and service provisions for Dragon Professional Anywhere (DPA) and Dragon Legal Anywhere (DLA), cloud-hosted speech recognition solutions distributed and supported by VoiceX Communications. These terms operate in conjunction with Nuance's official End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Dragon Cloud Hosted Solutions Service Level Agreement (SLA) provided by VoiceX.

2. Licensing Terms

  • Licenses are issued on a per-named-user basis and may be installed and used on an unlimited number of compatible Windows-based devices by that user.
  • Licenses are transferable upon written request to VoiceX.
  • Available as 12-month, 24-month, or 36-month subscriptions.
  • All licenses are subject to automatic expiration unless renewed prior to the expiry date.
  • Essentials packages offer limited support and do not include training or configuration.
  • Plus packages include mobile access, onboarding, training, and unlimited Australian support.

3. System Requirements

  • OS: 64-bit Microsoft Windows 10/11
  • .NET Framework: 4.5 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen equivalent
  • RAM: 4 GB or more
  • Internet Connection: Minimum 1 Mbps (stable connection required)
  • Browser: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge

4. Internet Access & Network Configuration

The software requires secure outbound access on:

  • Ports: TCP 443 (HTTPS)
  • Domains: *.nuance.com, *.nuancehdp.com

Firewall or proxy restrictions may impact connectivity. VoiceX recommends IT administrators consult the full technical implementation guide for optimal deployment.

5. Support & Service Levels

Support is governed by the VoiceX Dragon Hosted Solutions SLA, covering business-hours assistance, response times, and escalation workflows.

Support Hours:

  • Standard: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm AEST
  • After-hours urgent support: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm via call-forward or voicemail

Priority Levels:

Low General enquiries Minor bugs, UI issues, feature requests 24–48 hours

6. Training & Onboarding

  • Dragon Anywhere Plus packages include remote onboarding and up to1 hour end-user training tailored to workflows.
  • Dragon Anywhere Essentials packages do not include training, but sessions can be purchased separately.
  • Training is delivered by Nuance Certified VoiceX technicians.
  • On-site end-user Dragon Training can be provided in Australia upon request. Charges apply.

7. Compatibility Notes

  • Compatible only with Windows 10/11 (64-bit).
  • Not supported on macOS, unless using virtualized Windows environments.
  • Designed for single speaker use — for macOS, transcription of meetings or interviews, see SpeechLive AI Assistant.

8. Security & Data Handling

  • Hosted in secure Nuance environments with Australian data centre options
  • Compliance with HIPAA, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR
  • All data encrypted in transit and at rest

9. Exclusions

  • Additional or extensive user training
  • Support for non-Dragon applications or hardware
  • Unsupported operating environments or network restrictions
  • Custom configuration changes made outside VoiceX guidance
  • Planned downtime or maintenance initiated by the client

10. Termination & Changes

This agreement remains in effect for the duration of your Dragon subscription. It may be terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. Amendments must be confirmed in writing by both parties. In case of conflict with Nuance’s EULA, the EULA shall take precedence.
