How to Install Software from ZIP Files

When you download software from VoiceX, it will typically be provided as a .zip (archive) file. This type of file combines and compresses several other files and/or folders into a single file for ease of downloading.

It is important to follow the below steps to ensure that your software is installed correctly:

1. Click on the provided download link (URL) and choose the Save option if prompted
2. When the download completes, double-click on the .zip file to view its contents
3. Select all of the contained files/folders (press Ctrl + A)
4. Extract the files (Copy & Paste or Drag & Drop) to a convenient location like your Desktop (for tidiness, create a new folder first)
5. Once the operation is complete, open the new location and double-click the installer (usually setup.exe or <program name>.exe)
6. Follow the prompts to install your software
7. For tidiness, delete the new folder and extracted files after installation is complete (you may wish to keep the downloaded archive for future use)
