Warning: Philips Hardware SDK upgrade package should only be applied in case you 
		 experience serious issues in your particular virtual/remote environment.

Before applying the upgrade package, read the Philips Speech Extensions guide carefully to learn when you

Short description:

Registered SDK upgrade
======================

By installing philips_sdk_upgrade.exe on the server/target side, a few things are done:

1. It removes old Philips Speech server extensions.
2. It upgrades all registered Philips Hardware SDK components. 
   These new components inherently contain the server side control extensions  
   and auto-detect whether you´re running Citrix, VMware, WTS/RDP or locally (in case no Philips client 
   extensions are installed, which might be useful in case you let Citrix/VMware/RDP take care of full USB redirection).

Side-by-side (sxs) SDK upgrade
==============================
   
If your dictation software is using Philips SDKs in a side-by-side fashion, you need to copy some files to
Philips.[name of the SDK] folders next to the software´s executable.
Please follow the online guide to learn when, how and why to do this.
