1. Supported platforms
============================== 
- Windows 7 with service pack 1, x86 and x64, English
- Windows 8.1, x86 and x64, English
- Windows 10, x64, English
- Windows 11, x64, English
- Dragon Professional Individual 14 and 15
- Dragon Medical Practice Edition 3.3, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3

2. Known issues
=================
- Under certain circumstances, SpeechControl might prevent some Dragon versions from properly starting or  
  shutting down. In such cases, please reinstall SpeechControl and change the Dragon integration mode
  during setup either to "Dragon network edition" or to "Dragon local edition".

- It is not possible to control SpeechControl(PDCC) or SpeechExec via SpeechControl application control. 
  The application control feature does not do anything if SpeechExec or SpeechControl is in focus.

- After a silent upgrade or repair installation of SpeechControl the PC has to be restarted if an old 
  version of SpeechControl was running during installation.

- If central configuration has been configured during setup, 
  it can only be disabled by deleting following value in the registry:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Philips Speech\Device Control Center\ApplicationControlCentralRootFolder
  
- Power Save mode

  When Laptops go into system standby mode and hard disk sleep
  mode, they must be returned to normal operation mode before 
  recording can start.
  
- The installation of Microsoft .NET framework might take some minutes.

- Please make sure to always use the latest DirectX and Video card drivers on your computer

- On Windows 7 .NET 3.5.1 feature should not be turned off

- It is recommended to use the second audio muting option in SpeechControl

- When using the first audio mute option in SpeechControl it can happen 
  that Dragon icons on the System tray and on Dragon bar get out of sync. One shows dictation mode and 
  the other does not. In that case the Dragon microphone icon has to be pressed with the mouse to be 
  able to continue working.

- "Compound words" Dragon command in SpeechControl does not work if
  a French language profile is used in Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

- The successful execution of Dragon commands in SpeechControl can depend 
  on the target application and Dragon version. It may happen that some commands do not work in some 
  target applications used with some Dragon versions.
